Young Rail Professionals, in association with The 100 Years of Women in Transport (YOWIT) programme and railwaysignalling.eu , is delighted to be celebrating National Women in Engineering Day (NWED) with a mass photo call with women engineers at the iconic Horse Guards Parade in London on Tuesday 23 June from 08:15 – 09:00. We will also be using this opportunity to set a Guinness World Record, so you could see your name go down in history!
Ultimately this is about raising the profile of engineering and technology careers for women on as large a scale as possible, by showcasing the vast array of roles that a career in engineering and technology has to offer. As such we are looking for every type of engineer, from civil, mechanical and project engineers to system and software engineers.
The success of the event relies on gathering as many women engineers as possible so please help to spread the word!
Please let us know if you will be taking part via the event page.
